Meet Dr Jessica Eigeland (Arentz)
DIRECTOR AND CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Dr.Jessica Eigeland is a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a specialised focus on relationship skills and the cultivation of a strong alliance with clients. She is a board approved supervisor and a credentialed eating disorder clinician.
Jess’s passion lies in making a positive impact on the lives of all she works with. While she works across the lifespan, she has a special interest in supporting children, adolescents, and medical professionals. She also enjoys conducting assessments for Autism and ADHD.
Using an integrative therapeutic approach, Jess draws from a variety of evidence-based frameworks, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Systemic Family Therapy, Schema Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). This versatility allows her to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a holistic and effective therapeutic experience. She believes in the importance of a comprehensive formulation and develops a tailored evidence-based treatment plan to meet the individual needs of her clients.
Jess’s compassionate, warm, and collaborative demeanour creates a safe space for her clients to express themselves. She currently work out of the rooms at Anxiety House in Paddington Brisbane

Dr. Eigeland has distinguished herself in the field of healthcare research through numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at both international and Australian conferences. Her research is dedicated to integrating patient perspectives into health treatments and enhancing the patient-care provider relationship. By delving into patient views and experiences, she aims to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery, ensuring treatments are not only effective but also aligned with patients' needs and expectations.
